HISTORY OF COASTER GROUPS
Adrenaline Riders is a concept I created for a new roller coaster enthusiast group. Since the original in 1978 known as American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), people from all over the world have come together to experience the thrills from theme park to theme park.
I have loved roller coasters my entire life and thought to myself, what if I decided to create my own enthusiast group? To make this one more unique, I wanted to further communicate the message of thrill and having a logo that would get anyone to think to themselves "Let's go ride an intense thrill ride" Below is my process on how I came up with the logo design for this new group.
RESEARCH + INSPIRATION
When choosing the name Adrenaline Riders, I knew I needed to get inspiration from a roller coaster that really gets your heart racing, raises anticipation, and has extreme, high speed thrills. Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point fit this description perfectly.
LOGO IDEATIONS
With Top Thrill 2 being themed to drag racing and Formula 1 race cars, the logo I decide on must resemble the thrill of racing and speed.

FINAL LOGO (BLACK + WHITE)
ELEMENTS + COLOR INCORPORATION
The 420 foot tall top-hat on Top Thrill 2 is one of the most iconic elements in the theme park world. To give more visual interest to this logo, while also helping to further showcase that this is a coaster enthusiast group, I decided to incorporate this element in a unique way.
FINAL PRIMARY LOGO
Both the roller coaster top-hat element as well as the wordmark are now combined to create the primary logo for this enthusiast group
